Job Opportunity
Janice and Nathan Brooks are a local homeschooling family here in Bay County. Here is an email I received from Janice regarding a wonderful job opportunity. My husband is the owner of SouthernCat. He picked up a large contract today to do environmental cleaning in Pensacola. He is in need of workers. The job would last approximately 1-6 months and the pay is approximately $800.00 per week, all food and lodging would be paid in addition. If interested there will be a required 4 day environmental cleaning training here in Panama City next Monday through Thursday. The location and times TBA. Our company will pay for the cost of your training, but you will not be paid wages during the 4 day training. If interested please call me Janice Brooks @ 265-3123 or 867-4887. To enroll you in the training course, all paperwork and documentation will need to be completed by this Friday.
In this economy I know times are tough. This is a great opportunity to make some good money. We wanted to open it up to fellow homeschool families first.

Classical Conversations is now accepting registration for the Destin 3 Day Practicum. You can view a flyer that gives more information about this wonderful FREE opportunity to recharge yourself as a homeschool parent. I have attended a 3 day practicum each summer for the past 5 years and each year have come back with a ton of practical and helpful information, not to mention the encouragement and inspiration from other homeschooling parents. The Destin Practicum is only an hour away from us (I've traveled 6 hours to attend a practicum in the past!). The Orlando Practicum is finishing up today and they had over 500 in attendance! Don't miss this great chance to equip yourself to better teach your precious children!! To register, visit the Classical Conversations' website. They also have available camps and care for your children. The cost of a camp is $33 and the nursery is $38. This covers the entire 3 days! These fill up quickly though!!! The Nursery and the Beginning Trigonometry Camp are already full. There is a waiting list for both of them, so contact Helen Holmes at Hholmes40@aol.com if you would like to add your child to the waiting list! You can register for these camps at the same time you register for the practicum. The camps are not drop off programs, a parent must be present at the practicum for children to attend. If you have any questions, feel free to email me, Shonda Bush, at ccpcmom@gmail.com.
