Classical Conversations Open House

Classical Conversations of Panama City invites you to attend an Open House to see our campus in action. Our campus will be open for visitors September 9, 2010.

Please join us to observe our classes and classically trained tutors. Our Foundations classes, which are for K4-6th grade, begin at 9:00 am with a general greeting and break for classes at 9:15 through 12:00. During our morning class time we learn & review information from English Grammar, Geography, History, Latin, Science and Math and an entire history timeline from a Biblical perspective. Enjoy watching the class presentations, hands-on science experiments, and Fine Arts sessions of our Foundations programs.

Hear/observe our Essentials class in the afternoon 1:00-3:00; this is where 3rd through 6th graders participate in a grammar and writing program.

Pack a lunch and stay to hear veteran and new homeschooling moms share how CC has been a blessing to them and their children, in their family's homeschool journey.

Challenge A and B classes, which are for 7th-9th graders, run from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm with an hour break for lunch. Challenge classes are an active environment for students to practice the skills of learning in math, geography, logic, Latin, composition/literature, science and current events among others.

The Open House opportunity is for observation and to witness CC in action. Your children are welcome.

Christian Music on the Beach

Homeschooler's Karate Class

Dear Homeschooling Families,
There were a few of you who were interested in a karate program at The Karate Training Center. Marty Martin, owner and instructor, has come up with some details that will solidify if we have enough interest. If you are interested, email me at ritsfam@earthlink.net. by August 18th. Once I tally the numbers of interested students, I will email the families that contact me and let them know if the class will happen or not.
The details from Marty Martin are as follows:
-Probably a Monday/Wednesday class, maybe 3:15 to 4:15
- I would like at least 12-15 kids in the class
-Thinking of common basic skills with dividing the group up for self defense techniques.
-Cost would be $60 dollars per month for a single and $95 dollars for a family
-Ages 6 to 12/13
